FULL: Spring Workshop: Explorer Challenge - rescheduled
Updated: May 12, 2022
This activity is fully booked but we are still looking for parent volunteers.
The English Link is organising an Explorer Challenge Spring Workshop for all English Link students in the primary school on Wednesday, May 11th. (Please note that this event was initially schedule on March 16th but due to the weather condition the event had to be rescheduled)
Note that there is a “concertation" that day and no classes that morning.
The kids will have a morning of fun and will undertake four challenges to help them discover the history of their surroundings using fun, age-appropriate, educational activities in English. Based around the Grand-Rond and the Jardin Royal we will create a local timeline, puzle our way around some statues, re-enact some pioneering aviation adventures, and finish with an aeroplane-themed craft.
Wednesday 16th March, 8:30 am-11:45 a.m. (please drop your kids off at school by 8:20AM, we will leave the school at 8:30AM sharp)
Meeting point: the courtyard of the school, in front of the CP classrooms
Trainers / comfy footwear and weather-appropriate coats recommended. This activity will take place rain or shine!
There is reading involved in some of the challenges so if any pupils need reading glasses, they should bring them.
Hope to see you there ready to unearth some of Toulouse’s secrets!
Please let us know if you’d like to volunteer and help out that morning by registering your info here!
